1. Undistributed courses are marked with XUND in the course number. These are used at the discretion of your department/academic advisor and may or may not be used in your major, in the university core curriculum, or as electives.
2. Unevaluated courses are marked with XXXX in the course number. These are used at the discretion of your department/academic advisor and may or may not be used in your major, in the university core curriculum, or as electives. These courses are eligible for evaluation by submitting a syllabus.
3. When you see more than one result for a specific course, it usually means the equivalency has changed. Consult with your advisor or email transfercredit@purdue.edu.
4. When you see that a course has both equivalent credit and extra "undistributed credit," it means there are more hours being transferred than the Purdue's course.
5. Credit transferred in from quarter-based institutions is multiplied by 0.75.
6. If two or more courses are required to be equivalent to a Purdue course, they are listed in the Course Grouping section underneath the list of results.
7. If there are two versions of a Purdue course, you will need to investigate both.
8. Credit is only awarded for courses taken at regionally accredited institutions. Courses cannot be older than 10 years or developmental or remedial.
9. Please refer to the Indiana Core Transfer Library for an up-to-date list of courses that are pre-approved for transfer between all Indiana public college and university campuses and five independent colleges and universities (assuming adequate grades are earned).

1. When you are admitted to Purdue as a transfer student, you will receive an official credit evaluation. If you are an applicant you may request to have a course evaluated by contacting transfercredit@purdue.edu.
2. Course equivalencies are subject to change at any time.
3. Transfer credit is posted only from official college transcripts which the student must order from the transfer institution. Be sure your transcript is complete before sending.
4. If you are a potential transfer student, visit the admissions transfer page for information on the transfer process. Visit the university catalog for specific degree plans or to view a list of articulation agreements or transfer single articulation pathways.
5. Visit the admissions web site for more information about applying to Purdue or visiting Purdue.
6. Consult the advising unit for your intended major for specific advice on course selection.

Important Note: Articulations older than 10 years have been removed from this resource. In some cases, they may be reinstated. Others will require a syllabus for review by the department. These courses will be updated as transcripts are presented for review.
